Launch of PATCH in Tayside

The Lord Provost of Dundee hosted a reception for PATCH in the Dundee City Chambers on 2nd June to raise the awareness of the charity in Tayside and beyond.

“I am surprised” said Bob Duncan the Lord Provost “that this is the first charity to support 24/7 specialist palliative care for patients in hospital.” He added that “those who are ill and dying need the best of treatment but deserve more and this is where the three C’s come in – care, compassion and comfort, not just for those who are ill but also for their patients families during such difficult and trying times. This is specialised work, requiring understanding, dedication and specialist knowledge”
